Protos Verdejo White wine

Protos Verdejo is a white wine made from the 100% Verdejo grape variety. Aged on lees for approx. 3 months (decided by tasting tank by tank). The attributes of Protos Verdejo have made this barrel-free white wine one of the best valued by consumers.

Colour: straw yellow with greenish hues indicating youth. Very clean and bright.

Nose: aroma of medium-high intensity and complex. Fresh tropicals such as pineapple and citrus aromas, along with white fruit (apple), and herbaceous (boxwood and fennel), typical of the Verdejo variety, stand out.

Palate: dry wine, with an entry that surprises by combining freshness and moderate and balanced natural acidity with the roundness, body and structure provided by ageing on fine lees. Slightly bitter, characteristic of Verdejo and with a long persistence that leaves a pleasant memory of wine in the mouth.
