Protos 27 cosecha Red wine
Protos 27 harvest is made through manual harvesting in small 20 kg boxes. Pre-fermentation cold maceration. Alcoholic fermentation at 25ºC in 12,000 kg stainless steel tanks with yeasts selected from our own vineyards. Maceration of about 20 days, with several daily pump-overs.
Ageing: 16 months in new French oak barrels where malolactic fermentation was first carried out and then ageing. 12 months in bottle.
COLOUR: Intense cherry red colour, with violet rims resulting in a very lively and bright wine.
NOSE: Elegant, with ripe red and black fruit and a fresh and original touch, which together with sweet spices and fine toasted notes, make it a very expressive wine with great personality.
PALATE: Very balanced and easy to drink wine, with round tannins and a long and very pleasant finish.
Roast meats, lamb, pork, beef. Stews and stews, big game, cured cheeses.
