Viña El Pison Red wine

Artadi Viña El Pisón is a red wine with aging from La Rioja Alavesa and produced by Bodegas Artadi, Lacalle and Laorden Vineyards. Available the vintages 2016, 2015 and 2013. # -

- # It is a parcel wine, since all the Tempranillo grape comes from a single vineyard of the same name as the wine; located in Laguardia (Álava), at an altitude of 480 meters above sea level and on deep clayey-calcareous soils. Organic viticulture, respecting the environment and the land, without the use of non-herbicidal pesticides.

El Pisón is vinified in open wooden tanks with cold maceration (24 to 48 hours); Fermentation with 2 daily and small steps traced for 10 to 12 days (depending on add). Performs the malolactic in French oak barrels and subsequent aging for about 12 months, depending on the characteristics of the year. Limited production wine (between 5,000 and 7,000 bottles a year), to save or consume now.
