Pesquera MXI Selección de Barricas Red wine

At 900 meters of altitude in \"El Monte Alto de Pesquera\", grow the vineyards where the Tempranillo with which we have elaborated this MXI 2018 comes from. A fresh and fruity wine that will age in the cellar in a very careful selection of different barrel formats with medium toasts and for a time of 14 months. This wine was born in 2016 as a new project of the Fernández Rivera family, a wine made with dedication, affection and respect for the land and that welcomes the new generations of our family.

Aging: 14 months in the cellar, aging in different formats and a selection of barrels of different formats.

View: Clean and bright appearance. Intense maroon color.

Nose: We found freshness, memories of red and black fruits highlighting blackberries and raspberries. Dairy notes that give way to subtle notes of aging in barrels.

Palate: In the mouth it is fruity and tasty with a well-integrated acidity, rounded tannins that provide us with a long persistence on the palate. Final notes of vanilla and soft tofes appear in the aftertaste.

Ideal to accompany rice with small game, risottos, grilled meat carpaccio and some chops with branches.
