Montecillo Red wine

Montecillo Reserva is a wine with Rioja designation of origin and made from Tempranillo and Mazuelo grapes. Aged in French and American oak barrels (65% – 35%), 24 months in the Tempranillo variety and 22 months in the Mazuelo.

Its color is clean, bright and expressive ruby red color with a medium-high layer and a great fluidity in the glass.

Stately, elegant and very changeable aroma. First notes of noble woods, mahogany and bay leaf, in the background appears the red fruit compote mixed with mineral notes.

Silky taste, perfectly polished and velvety tannin. Exquisite acidity that envelops the notes of wood and ripe fruits in a set of great balance. Long finish, pure enjoyment.

Perfect accompaniment to meat dishes, sausages, cured cheeses and stews.
