Montecillo Limited Edition is the most personal and intuitive wine of Bodegas Montecillo's winemaker, who masterfully interprets and revitalizes a legacy of more than 150 years.Two ancestral varieties, Tempranillo and Graciano, assembled to offer the most modern Rioja from the third oldest winery in the./o.Ca.Rioja.Of remarkable fruity expression, intense and opulent, with a surprising balance.Pure elegance and daring.The aging in barrels is done separately for 20 months in oak barrels (mixed 85% and French 15%) with 60% of new barrels in total.After a final racking, we perform the final assembly and return to the barrel for 6 months as a "joint harmonic" to be tamed.Subsequent refining in the bottle for at least 2 years before going on the market

Colour: Red pillory and trim still with bluish iridescence. High layer.

Nose: A fun, fruity nose with a great feeling of mahogany, minerals and a marked background after aerating with toffee.

Mouth: With a wide mouth, with a lot of life ahead. Ripe fruit and notes of plum and black licorice. Elegant and long aftertaste.
