Magnum Marqués de Riscal en caja de Madera Red wine
The fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 26 ° C with maceration which does not exceed 12 days. The Riscal reserves remain approximately two years in American oak barrels, setting up a wine that fits within the canons of classicism riojano, fresh, fine, elegant and with great ageing potential. Before heading out to the market it has a minimum period of refinement in bottle for a year.
Wine quite covered cherry color. Balsamic and spicy aroma of great complexity, with notes of blackberries, ripe and slightly toasted. In the mouth it has good structure, it is tasty, dense and rounded and elegant tannins. The finish is long and fresh, with a slight memory of oak wood.
East wine pairs well with ham, not cured cheeses, casseroles with not very spicy sauces, cooked or stewed vegetables, poultry, red meat, grilled meats and roasts.
91 points Peñín.
