Luis Cañas Red wine

Luis Cañas Reserva comes from vineyards in which the average age is 40 years old and after its elaboration they are tasted and the most suitable type of wood for its aging is defined.

Aged for 18 months in oak barrels: 60% French, 40% American.

Barrel age: 2 years.

In view it is ruby red. Clean, bright. On the nose it presents notes of ripe red fruits, with a balsamic background. On the palate it is fresh and smooth, with a very well structured tannin

Excellent to accompany red meats, white meats, big and small game, roasts, fatty fish, rice and cheeses. Within the typical Riojan cuisine it combines perfectly with peppers stuffed with cod, artichokes with ham, pastoral crumbs and pig's trotters
