La Fillaboa 1898 - White wine
Fillaboa 1898 comes from the best grapes of the eight plots that are part of the Fillaboa coupage, planted on undulating slopes on the natural border with Portugal, in soils with a loamy-sandy texture, with good drainage and an abundance of boulders very suitable for the cultivation of quality vineyards.
It is made with 100% albariño grapes, it comes from the best plots that are part of the Fillaboa coupage, characterized by soils with a loamy-sandy texture, good drainage and an abundance of pebbles. It has been aged for eight years in a stainless steel tank on fine lees, carrying out periodic batonages to keep the lees in suspension and, in this way, avoid oxidation and obtain greater volume and roundness in the mouth.
It is a tribute to 1898, the year in which one of our first Albariños crossed the ocean on a sailboat to Cuba.
