La Fillaboa 1898 - White wine

It comes from the best grapes of the eight plots that are part of the Fillaboa coupage, planted on undulating slopes on the natural border with Portugal, in soils of sandy loam texture, with good drainage and abundance of boulders very suitable for the cultivation of quality vineyards.

It is made with 100% Albariño grapes, comes from the best plots that are part of the Fillaboa coupage, characterized by soils of sandy-loam texture, good drainage and with an abundance of boulders. It has remained eight years of aging in stainless steel tank on fine lees, performing periodic batonages to keep the lees in suspension and, in this way, avoid oxidation and obtain greater volume and roundness in the mouth.

It is a tribute to 1898, the year in which one of our first Albariños, crossed the ocean on a sailboat bound for Cuba.

View: Straw yellow with golden tones, clean and bright.

Nose: Toasted, with syrupy fruit bottoms, very ripe fruit, souvenir of roasted apple and bakery, result of 8 years of aging on lees.

Taste: Mild in attack, pearl with very well integrated acidity, volume and long persistence.
