Pesquera Millenium Red wine
Millenium grapes come from Viña Alta, where Familia Fernández Rivera planted its first vines in the late 1960s and early 1970s. It is located at an altitude of more than 800 metres.
24 months in 225-litre French oak barrels. The wine is rounded in the bottle before going on the market.
View: Clean and Bright. Pickaxe red colour with intense layer.
Nose: Wide and well-integrated nose with fruity aromas and hints of wood. Perfect balance between ripe black fruit and licorice with hints of coffee and spicy notes.
Mouth: Wide, fleshy and long, with a round and persistent tannic structure. It has a fine, greedy mouthfeel with ripe and roasted fruit in the aftertaste. It is an elegant and silky wine, with a good ageing in French oak barrels.
Ideal to accompany all types of red and white meat, ideal for game dishes and especially with roasted lamb. Perfect also with any spoon dish as well as with desserts: bitter chocolates, and cheesecake.
