Sierra Cantabria Red wine
Sierra Cantabria Crianza is made in a traditional way, 100% destemmed. Aged for 14 months in French and American oak Bordeaux barrels. Barrel age: maximum of three wines.
Color: medium-high intensity ruby-red with light orange tones on the rim of the glass, clean and bright.
Aroma: intense. Light lactic notes, red fruits and spices. It shows a good development of the secondary aromas of aging (vanilla, cocoa, roasted) providing a good balance and persistence.
On the palate: it is tasty, well armed and with ripe tannins in good balance with acidity-alcohol. The fruity character slightly dominates the flavours of toasted, roasted, cocoa and vanilla, giving it a very interesting complexity.
Recommended Dishes: cooked and legumes, red and white meats, Castilian roasts, stews, hair and feather hunting, cheeses and pâté. Roasted pigeon with almond sauce.
