Cune - Ribera del Duero Red wine
The grapes for Cune Roble come from their own vineyards located at an altitude of 800 m on clay-calcareous soils in the town of Villalba de Duero in Burgos.
The climate is continental with harsh winters and warm summers with cold nights.
The grapes ferment in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature and the wine is aged for 5 months in American and French oak barrels.
Purple color with medium-high layer.
On the nose, fruity aromas such as red fruits (cherry, currant) and memories of the time spent in the barrel, such as vanilla, coconut and cocoa as well as with notes of aromatic herbs.
On the palate it is a fresh wine, with red fruit very present, as well as a hint of white flowers and a mid-palate marked by the personality of Ribera wines.
The retronasal is long and fruity.
Perfect pairing with all kinds of fatty and game meats in the form of roasts, stews, stews, as well as the different cheeses of the area as well as cured, both cow and sheep.
