Marqués de Riscal Verdejo Organic wine

Marqués de Riscal Verdejo is one of the greatest exponents of the white wines of the D.O. Rueda. Made with Verdejo grapes, native to this region, it has pleasant aromas of vervain and tropical fruits, generous flavors and a fresh and lively mouthfeel.

As of its 2019 vintage, Marqués de Riscal Verdejo becomes part of the winery's 100% organic wines, wines from sustainable agriculture and organic production. The elaboration of the wine with the minimum possible intervention manages to highlight the varietal purity and the character of the terroir of this Douro area.

Bright straw-yellow wine.

As befits the Verdejo variety, on the nose it has a high aromatic intensity, with aromas of fennel, white flowers and aniseed notes and fresh grass.

On the palate it has an unctuous and fresh sensation, with a persistent finish typical of the variety resulting from a long and pleasant drink. Overall, it looks like a fresh and balanced wine.

This wine pairs well with fish, seafood, ham, pasta, chicken and cold meats.
