Marqués de Riscal Rosado Viñas Viejas Rose wine

Marqués de Riscal Viñas Viejas is a limited edition rosé that contains the purest essence of the Garnacha and Tempranillo Tinta de Toro varieties. The exceptionality of this wine is given by its elaboration with grapes from vineyards of more than 80 years, cultivated in free foot, pre-phylloxeric, from the highest cascajosa terraces of the Douro River.

It is, without a doubt, an atypical rosé since in its elaboration the technique of natural bleeding is used, where the must that flows directly from the press after a brief maceration is used. Its uniqueness is also given by the contact with fine lees of the Sauvignon Blanc variety, which bring freshness and complexity to the wine.

Pale pink wine, bright and lively.

On the nose it presents intense aromas of strawberry and raspberry, with some floral notes.

In the mouth it is fresh, glyceric and balanced, with a finish full of pleasant acidic sensations.

This wine pairs well with fish, seafood, pasta and rice.
