Marqués de Riscal Reserva Special Edition Risk All 2021 is a vintage for history.
The winery pays tribute to the title of World's Best Vineyard in the World's Best Vineyards 2024, with this design illustrated by the Isidro Ferrer National Design and Illustration Award.
The 2021 vintage is the result of a refined wine, where the fruit imposes itself with freshness on the wood, endowed with harmony, complexity and an outstanding aging capacity. In addition, the entry into production of grafted vineyards from the winery with original tempranillos from the 19th century, in combination with the clay-calcareous soils of Rioja Alavesa, provides a unique seal of authenticity that reinforces the identity of this Reserve.
Cherry-colored wine quite covered. Balsamic and spicy aroma of great complexity, with notes of ripe black fruits and lightly toasted. On the palate it has good structure, it is tasty, dense and with round and elegant tannins. The finish is long and fresh, with a slight hint of oak wood.
This wine pairs well with ham, not very mature cheeses, stews with not very spicy sauces, cooked or stewed legumes, poultry, red meats, grilled meats and roasts.
