Flor de Vetus Red wine

Flor de Vetus is a single-varietal wine of Tinta de Toro that comes from low-production vineyards planted at an altitude of 700 meters above sea level, in limestone soils on unconsolidated material, with coarse and fine-grained sandstone.

As for the winemaking, after the harvest, manually and with double selection, it ferments in truncated conical tanks and is aged for nine months in French oak barrels.

Cherry color with maroon rim. Marked fruity character, with light toasted and roasted notes. On the palate it is fresh and round, with undergrowth and pepper. Very greedy. Reminiscent of liquorice. Nice clean finish.
