Viña Real Especial Gran Reserva is made only in exceptional vintages with the best selection of grapes of the mainly Tempranillo varieties from our own vineyards.
The aging is carried out in new and 1 use barrels where it remains an average of 24 months, undergoing manual racking approximately every 4 months in the first year, with racking spaced out in the second year. Before bottling, the wine is clarified for greater clarity, silkiness and shine. In the bottle, the wine acquires the necessary roundness for a minimum of 3 years. It will reach its fullest many years later.
Bright and bright ruby red color with light maroon trim and high layer of color.
Very intense and complex on the nose, highlighting notes corresponding to their stay in the barrel (coffee, spices, toasted, balsamic) well combined with aromas of ripe red and black fruits and nuts. The mouthfeel is very soft, unctuous evolving towards an intense, structured and long-lasting finish with a certain acidity that gives it freshness. At all times you can see a sweet tannin, very well tamed and perfectly integrated into the final matrix of the wine. It is a wine that will evolve very positively in the bottle, presenting a great potential for preservation.
Red meats, cured cheeses and fatty fish.
