El Canto del Cuco White wine

Ribeiro El Canto del Cuco 2016; Lagar do Merens, is an old and restored winery where its construction bases such as wood and stone were preserved, at the same time it was endowed with the most modern viticulture technologies to achieve wines of extreme delicacy, balance and quality.

It is a winery of the so-called «colleiteiras» with its own extension of vineyards of 3.5 Hectares.

The soils are granite-based with a sandy-loam texture and an average depth of 70 - 100 cm. Ideal for the varietals used to make this broth, Ribeiro El Canto del Cuco 2016.

Vineyards, located on slopes of a certain slope saved by socalcos, the grape varieties used are native to Ribeiro: Treixadura, Godello, Torrontés , Loureira and Lado. In the winery, priority is given to work in the vineyard to obtain the highest quality in its final product.

Lemon yellow color with straw-steel edging

Deep aroma, with traces of ripe stone fruit, apples and soft citrus tones of grapefruit on notes of fresh hay, white flowers, melon and granite in the background, very enveloping. Round, very clean and of good intensity.

Fresh and very tasty attack, crispy in texture, very good acidity, imposing, and not at all herbal. Very frank and fruity, with a well marked granite mineral background. Agile but nervous passage of the mouth, of primary sensations, but well resolved. Final
