Calvario Red wine

Origin of the vineyard: Coming from Finca Calvario , planted in 1945 on clay soils with gravels and stones, facing southeast.

Elaboration and Aging: Manual harvest, grain-by-grain selection, malolactic fermentation in barrels and an 18-month aging in new French oak barrels.

Production: Very limited, usually less than 10,000 bottles per year.

Intense cherry colour with bluish trim. It retains a vibrant and surprising shine. Very expressive and harmonised aromas. Forest fruits, floral notes, aromatic herbs, lactic and mineral souvenirs. It is a wine that every time you approach it, gives you a new aroma. An elegant and silky wine, it evokes notes of varied fruits and balsamic aromas. Acidity fully integrated into the long, persistent and tasty wine structure and finish.
