Coto Real Reserva
VINIFICATION: The grapes were collected in 350 kg boxes to preserve them until they arrive at the winery, where they are passed through the selection table. The maceration and alcoholic fermentation is carried out in small 100 Hl stainless steel tanks with daily pumping over and a long maceration. Malolactic fermentation took place in barrels.
AGEING: We have selected several types of barrels from different origins, toasted and cooperage, which has undoubtedly contributed to the complexity of the wine. The total aging in barrels was 24 months. There was no filtration and it was then bottle-tuned for a minimum of 18 months before being released to the market.
Deep cherry red color. Notes of mocha and coffee adorn the aroma of red berries. Silky and dense on the palate. Long aftertaste.
It goes well with game, duck breast, pigeon, and of course red meat.
