Baigorri Finca La Canoca Red wine
Red wine made with Tempranillo grapes from vines planted in 1960. The pond is located at about 640 m altitude in the foothills of the Sierra de Toloño, with a north-south orientation and clay-calcareous soil. It is made in closed barrels of 225 liters in an artisanal way with the destemmed grapes and in whole grains, using carbonic snow to develop an intercellular maceration as long as possible. During alcoholic fermentation, which lasts 30 days, it is manually bazuquea. Then it goes to new French oak barrels to perform malolactic fermentation at 20 degrees.
Wine of intense ruby color with aromas of ripe fruits and spices. In the mouth, its balance and freshness are surprising. It highlights its unctuousness and its unique style, with great potential in all its extension and very marked by the terroir that makes it incomparable in the canoca area.
