It has taken more than a quarter of a century since our first red wine 200 Monges Gran Reserva 1994 was released to dare to put our first great white reserve on the market.

We wanted to do it with the 2008 vintage because it was the first we made as a monovarietal of our native viura variety. To do this, we use two plots that are about 50 km apart and two different valleys: the Najerilla valley (Badarán El Charco plot) and the Iregua valley (Albelda de Iregua, La Rad plot). The best grapes from both vineyards in vases were selected to make this great reserve. It remained squeezed for 3 days without pressing in contact with the skins, performing a film maceration. After pressing, the lees were separated with cold. He began to ferment the clean must after 5 days, once it reached 16º with the indigenous yeasts themselves, then passing it to the barrel where he carried out the fermentation. Subsequently, it was aged in barrels for two years

before moving on to storage and bottling.

Bright gold color. Aroma of dried flowers, ripe fruit, wild herbs, with iodized and nutty notes. On the palate it is fleshy, powerful, tasty, spicy and with citrus notes. Long and salty aftertaste.
