It has taken more than a quarter of a century since our first red wine 200 Monges gran reserva 1994 was released to dare to put our first great white reserve on the market, 200 Monges Blanco Gran Reserva.

We wanted to do it with the 2008 vintage because it was the first one we made as a single varietal of our native variety Viura. To do this, we use two plots that are about 50 km apart and two different valleys: the Najerilla valley (Baarán plot El Charco) and the valley of the Iregua (Albelda de Iregua, plot of La Rad). The best grapes from both goblet-trained vineyards were selected to make this Gran Reserva. It remained crushed for 3 days without pressing in contact with the skins, performing a skin maceration. After pressing, the lees were separated with cold. He began to ferment the clean must after 5 days, once it reached 16º with the indigenous yeasts themselves, then transferring it to barrels where he fermented. It was then aged in barrels for two years

before being deposited and bottled.

Bright gold color. Aroma of dried flowers, ripe fruit, wild herbs, with iodized and nutty notes. On the palate it is fleshy, powerful, tasty, spicy and with citrus notes. Long, saline aftertaste.
