Viña Calera White wine

Marqués de Riscal produces this Wheel with a selection of Verdejo, Viura and Sauvignon blanc varieties, from vineyards less than 15 years old led in trellises. The harvest is carried out by machine at night to take advantage of the low temperatures and limit the oxidation processes of the wort to the maximum. After clarification, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a temperature between 13oC and 15oC. The wine, once stabilized, will be bottled between the months of January and March following the harvest. For the first time, the Stelvin-type screw cap is included as an alternative closure for this white wine. The ease of opening and closing the bottle makes it an ideal wine to serve in restaurants, bars and cafes. The fully airtight screw cap ensures a perfect evolution of the wine, maintaining throughout the time all its freshness and aromatic intensity. Pale yellow wine. The nose is medium intensity with light notes of citrus. On the palate it has a fresh feel, with hints of herbs and a round and persistent finish. This wine is paired well with fish, seafood, ham, pasta, chicken and cold meats.
