Viña Ardanza Red wine
Viña Ardanza Reserva is a wine with Rioja designation of origin and made with Tempranillo and Garnacha grapes. It is a magnificent vintage, with wines that stand out especially for their depth and persistence. The budding of the vineyard took place on usual dates, with a prima vera with moderate rainfall and well distributed throughout the vegetative cycle. Despite the drought and high summer temperatures, the wines of this vintage also enjoy a great balance between acidity and alcohol content, as well as a high intensity and aromatic quality and an excellent ripeness of their tannins, giving them softness and roundness in the mouth.
Deep garnet red color, with a clean edge.
On the nose it stands out for its great aromatic intensity, with spicy and balsamic notes of liquorice, cloves, nutmeg and black pepper, enveloping a subtle memory of ripe red fruits: liqueur cherry and raspberry jam.
Its palate is very balanced, fresh, with a wide range of flavors and soft and round tannins, which give way to a spicy and balsamic aftertaste. A Viña Ardanza in its prime, with a long life ahead of it.
Main dishes, all kinds of meats and stews and desserts with chocolate coating. Ideal as an after-dinner drink.
