Valdubón Red wine
Valdubón Reserva is made entirely from Tinta del País (Tempranillo) grapes. The vineyards originating from Valdubón are spread over different municipalities of Ribera del Duero, with their main origins being the municipalities of Pardilla, Castrillo, Fuentelceped, Aldehornos and Milagros. The vineyards selected to make Valdubón Reserva are those that are over 30 years old, and stand out for providing a grape of great concentration and exceptional aromatic potential.
Valdubón Reserva was aged for a minimum of 22 months in American (50%) and French (50%) oak barrels. All the barrels used are less than 36 months old.
In the glass it shows covered, with an intense red color with violet flashes that show its good aging.
On the nose it is complex and spicy, rich in ripe red fruits mixed with notes of licorice and toasted nuts.
On the palate it is powerful, cheerful due to its good acidity, full of ripe tannins, with an elegant attack, excellent evolution and intense finish.
For a better enjoyment of the wine, it is recommended to open Valdubón Reserva thirty minutes before tasting.
