Ultreia Godello White wine

This white wine, 100% godello, has a fermentation in fudres without temperature control, and a higher concentration of wood than other white wines by the author. It comes from a vineyard between Valtuille de Abajo and Cacabelos, both towns in the Bierzo region, with loamy but very loose soil. The production is on trellises from vines over 20 years old.

Ultreia Godello shows aromas of fresh grass on the nose with slight memories of kaffir lime, stone fruit, pineapple, wood and melon. The result is a slightly tropical background. Very stimulating.

The wine is vibrant in the mouth, with a subtle entry, and a great explosion on the palate. It combines acidity with alcohol very well, achieving a perfect balance. It is long and fresh.
