Terroir Sense Fronteres Negre

Terroir Sense Fronteres was born as a search to take advantage of the unique minerality and soul of the Montsant and give a liquid voice to the moderation and freshness of the clayey hills that surround the Priorat. Negre is a dry red mix of the traditional varieties of the region Garnacha Noir (75%) and Cariñena (25%). The grapes are vinified for up to 10 days in whole bunches with wild yeast in stainless steel tanks before spending 8 months of additional aging, also in stainless steel. With a dedication to organic farming, this entry-level red speaks of and for the region, a message powered by fruits in a bottle that rewards those who choose to listen.

The Garnacha fruit shines with a wild beauty, elegance and extravagance that is unaffected by any contact with oak. Tantalizing aromas of crisp cherry and blackberry lead to an herbal yet ethereal glow that refuses to be defined. Medium bodied, with silky red fruit flavors, deep spice and hints of licorice. A wine of equal ease and elegance, robust and refined, and interwoven with a network of fine-grained tannins and a persistent mineral finish.
