Introducing Tagonius Roble 2023, a remarkable red wine crafted by Bodegas Tagonius. This exquisite wine is made from a careful selection of the finest grapes, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Tempranillo, and Merlot. With an alcohol content of 14%, it delivers a robust flavor profile that wine enthusiasts will truly appreciate.
The production process begins with the handpicking of mature grapes that retain their natural acidity, providing a fresh and vibrant character. The grapes undergo a cold pre-fermentation maceration at 8ºC for five days, followed by controlled alcoholic fermentation. This is complemented by post-fermentation maceration lasting six to eight days, allowing for optimal extraction of flavors. The wine then undergoes malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks using selected bacteria, ensuring a smooth and refined taste.
To achieve a harmonious balance between fruit and wood, the wine is aged in a combination of French and American oak barrels for seven months. After bottling, it continues to mature for an additional 12 months, enhancing its complexity and elegance.
Tagonius Roble boasts a brilliant, medium-high density, clean appearance with a cherry red color. The nose reveals a delightful array of red fruits, including hints of tropical notes like passion flower and mango pit, alongside mineral undertones such as graphite.
