Tagonius Red wine
Tagonius Crianza is the quintessential wine of Bodegas Tagonius. It is a tangible sign of respect for the fruit-wood balance that characterises the winery.
It is made from a careful selection of our best grapes of the Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Tempranillo and Merlot varieties. A ripe grape that retains a natural acidity that gives it freshness, prefermentation maceration at 8ºC for 5 days, alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature, maceration for 21 days, malolactic fermentation in a stainless steel tank. Then the wine goes to French and American oak barrels where it matures for 10 months to achieve a balance between fruit and wood, then it is bottled and aged in the bottle.
Intense and vivid pillory color. Clean, shiny, high-intensity with its own tile edging of evolution by aging. High intensity, ripe black fruits (blackberry, cassis), tropical and mineral tones (graphite), roasted fruits (caramel, cocoa), undergrowth, cigar box (cedar), balsamic and spicy.
Openness, well-polished tannins, good structure in the mouth, fleshy. Good balance between acidity-alcohol, elegant and balanced.
Red and game meats. Cured cheeses.
