Pintia Red wine
Pintia is an elegant wine within the austerity that the region confers, that is, fine tannins wrapped with aromas of fresh fruit and fleeing from over-ripening and liqueur aromas. This is the philosophy that defines Pintia. 100% malolactic in barrels. Aged in new barrels 70% French Nevers and 30% American for 14 months. Rest of aging in bottle until its sale in 2007.
Pickly cherry colour, intense, with purple trim. High layer and dense tear. Of remarkable intensity with a ripe black fruit and fresh red fruit very present well combined with roasts, coffees, licorice, balsamic notes, vanilla and spices. Complex and with many nuances. It has a powerful attack and a robust, fleshy and energetic mouthfeel. Present, mature and marked tannins and a good acidity, well structured. Long and very persistent finish.
Cooked, Roasted lamb, Stews, Feathered game, Sheep cheeses, Beef.
