Ontañón Red wine

Ontañón Crianza is a DO red wine. Rioja. One of the keys to this wine is its varietal diversity: Tempranillo and Grenache from a small universe of vineyards treated with care as the basis of its survival over the years. And, of course, its aging in barrels in which two origins (French and American) combine to delve into its aromatic complexity and the silkiness of its tannins.

Colour: It is a clean, bright wine with a great intensity of colour. It shows a nuance between ruby red and cherry pecked.

Nose: It is very intense and powerful with a complex bouquet, the result of a perfect assembly between the fruit and terroir from the grapes and the aging aromas due to its passage through 1st and 2nd use French and American oak wood.At first, there are notes of black fruit and compote fruit as well as truffled and undergrowth notes that take us to a typical autumn forest landscape of the Sierra de Yerga.Next, he shows us notes of pastry, fruit such as plum or fig, spicy notes, incense, as well as notes of coffee and a balsamic background

Its decantation is recommended. Pair especially with red meats, game, Iberians and cured cheeses.
