Muga Selección Especial Red wine
Muga Reserva Special Selection is made with Tempranillo, Garnacha Tinta and Graciano grapes. Made through fermentation with indigenous yeast in oak tanks, followed by aging for 26 months in French oak barrels selected in our cooperage. Prior to bottling, a clarification is carried out with fresh egg white, and once in the bottle, the wine undergoes a refining process for a minimum of 18 months in the winery.
We found a high and uniform layer with purple iridescence very much in the meniscus of the cup.
In the nasal we find aromas that incite you to think of wild red berries, not yet collected but already ripe, increasing notes of field smells and mineral sensations.
The sensations in the mouth are an increased continuation, with greater evidence of the Tempranillo grape that becomes the perfect dance partner of the Grenache. Almost chewy fruit, sweet and silky tannins, pleasant acidity and good presence of mineral notes.
