Malleolus de Sanchomartín Red wine
Malleolus de Sanchomartín named in honour of the Pago de Sanchomartín, a vineyard in Pesquera de Duero grafted with spikes from the clone of the oldest vineyards in the family. Tannic wines with a marked acidity, which makes them ideal for aging in wood and excellent conditions for overripening.
It is made with grapes of the 100% Tempranillo variety, or also called Tinto Fino. Its alcoholic fermentation and maceration is carried out in small stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Subsequently, after malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels, it undergoes aging in new French oak barrels.
Intense cherry red wine with a very dense layer. On the nose, the intense aromas of Tempranillo are perceived, perfectly assembled with its aging in the best wood. The mouth is a faithful reflection of the sensations of the nose, providing elegance and complexity. It is a full-bodied wine, a structured and round tannin with a long and persistent aftertaste. An extraordinary vintage that results in an exceptional wine.
This wine behaves very well when consumed with meat stews.
