La Mujer Cañón Red wine
La Mujer Cañón is made from Grenache between 60 and 70 years of age, from a plot of 0.64 hectares, located at an altitude of 900 meters on granite-sandy soils, in the town of Cadalso de los Vidrios.
The grapes were destemmed and then cold-macerated. The must fermented at a controlled temperature and was aged in 500 L French oak barrels. Surprising wine from old Grenache vines from the Sierra de Gredos. Complex, deep and balanced.
Cherry red color with some brick reflection. Purple trim. Very aromatic and complex nose. Ripe red fruit, balsamic, cinnamon, smoke, cocoa and mild spices that help to unite the whole aromatic whole. Very fine on the palate, good body, correct acidity. Powerful tannins that augur well for a long journey. Red fruit, mineral hints, spices, balsamic. Long and persistent finish.
