La Bota de Fino 68 - Macharnudo Alto

The Bota de Fino 68 Macharnudo Alto, is the sack made in June 2016 of the same set of boots from which the seven previous editions of La Bota de Fino come. On this occasion, it is a selection of boots belonging to the solera, first and second criaderas, which results in an estimated average age of between ten and eleven years. Very complex and intense and with an unctuous palate (the traditional buttery character of the old fines) under the influence of the autolysis of the dead flower, typical of a fine that has gone notoriously beyond the usual maximum of biological aging.

Wine for connoisseurs, it has been bottled practically in branch, with only a very slight filtering, in order to preserve its golden color and its intense character. It can be enjoyed without reservation from the first moment, and will continue to give satisfactions for many years, as long as it is stored with a minimum of care.

At the table, it is an extremely versatile wine: Iberian ham of course, but also seafood stews, shepherd's pie, octopus a feira, grilled vegetables, not too ripe cheeses.
