Dominio del Pidio Tinto Red wine

Dominio del Pidio Tinto is a wine with the Ribera de Duero designation of origin and made with Tempranillo and Albillo grapes. The harvest is manual in its vineyards in the heart of Ribera del Duero. These are small plots with plants up to 100 years old planted on loamy sandy soils with clayey compositions at an altitude of about 890 metres. Fermentation in cement containers 18 meters underground. Aged in French oak barrels of different capacities for 16 months.

Very intense cherry eye colour.

On the nose, this Ribera wine stands out for its ripe fruit, aromas of spices and graphite. Notes of red and black fruit, a little pepper and some smokes that then return to the palate.

On the palate, Dominio del Pidio Tinto 2016 is a fresh and fruity wine. Good balance and with a medium body with fine tannins and an elegant and long finish.

Grilled red meats, cheeses, small game, sausages.
