Flor de Vetus Verdejo White wine
Flor de Vetus Verdejo is a single-varietal wine made from a selection of micro plots of old vineyards in the westernmost area of the D.O. Rueda (Segovia). The average altitude of the vineyards is around 900 metres above sea level, which gives it freshness and entity, the main features of this wine's personality.
The old goblet vines are located on sandy slopes with a north-south orientation. The climate is continental, with about 400 mm of rain per year and more than 2,700 hours of sunshine. Its cultivation follows the practices of the most traditional viticulture and no irrigation is used. The grapes are harvested by hand, usually in the last week of August, and once fermented, they are not subjected to any type of aging, seeking to keep intact all the natural virtues of a fruit of enormous quality.
Great aromatic intensity where tropical fruits stand out accompanied by citrus notes that give it freshness. On the palate it is juicy and fresh, reaffirming the fruit that we find on the nose, with a delicious mineral touch. A white wine with a marked but pleasant acidity and a persistent finish.
