Contino en caja de madera Magnum Red wine
In 1973 Contino was born, the first \"chateau\" in Rioja. Its wines are obtained only from the vineyard planted in its 62 hectares. The Contino Reserva vineyard is integrated around an old manor house, in a meander of the Ebro in Laserna, a hamlet in the municipality of Laguardia.
Intense garnet red colour. Medium-high and shiny layer. Dense tear that lightly tints the glass. With a standing glass, pleasant balsamics appear next to elegant toasts that will slowly evolve. The fruit appears slowly. Once we shake the glass, the fruit is very ripe, interspersed with notes of tobacco and toffee, with good spices and lactic touches. Intense floral background. Very good entry, with volume. Long, tasty journey, full-bodied, with a warm and silky step. Very ripe, fleshy fruit, full of spicy, balsamic and smoky notes. Elegant and soft roasts. Excellent acidity. Very well integrated and tasty tannins. Very long finish with great persistence and an aftertaste full of fruit and spices. A great Rioja wine that is very elegant, seductive and very friendly.
