Castillo de Sajazarra Red wine
Castillo de Sajazarra Reserva, made almost entirely with tempranillo. We start from very ripe grapes, from low-production vineyards.
Between 10 and 20% of the total undergoes malolactic fermentation in new French oak barrels, with periodic batonage. It remains 24 months in American and French oak barrels, ending its stay in wood with 3 more months in French oak vats. Finally, it remains in the bottle for a minimum of 12 months before being marketed.
Attractive, very covered colour, cherry red with violet reflections. Very fruity on the nose, with liquorice and red berries accompanied by a great and eaten wood. Hazelnut and vanilla souvenirs. Unctuous on the palate, with solid structure, ripe and sweet tannins. Harmonious and long. You can guess a wine with a splendid present and future.
