Campillo Blanco Fermentado en Barrica , is a white wine made with grapes of the Viura and Chardonnay varieties in the DO Rioja. Fermented in French and American oak barrels.
Clean, bright, straw yellow color with greenish flashes. On the nose it is broad, sweet, honeyed notes. The barrel is present for the vanilla aromas. In the background there is a floral touch, with white flowers. On the palate it is round, homogeneous, elegant, with good acidity. At the end, light notes of toast are perceived. Long finish, the vanilla memories of the barrel are maintained.
Perfect for pairing with frankfurters. Stewed, baked or mashed potatoes. It combines very well with most fish, seafood and vegetables. Fondue, goat cheese or requefort. Pasta with basil, béchamel, cheese.
