Baron de Ley - 50 CL. Red wine
Barón de Ley Reserva is a wine that is made with grapes from Rioja Oriental, mainly Mendavia with a small contribution from Ausejo.
Grapes that give the wine a concentrated character and great balance and drinkability.
This Reserva is aged for a minimum of 18 months in oak barrels and then aged in the bottle until it reaches its fullness.
Color: Clean and bright with a medium layer and ruby red color.
Aromas: On the nose it is complex with aromas of red fruits, sweet spices with a balsamic background.
Palate: The attack is powerful, developing a sensation of volume and unctuousness that leads to a long creamy finish. In the aftertaste, the memories of red fruits return in conjunction with notes of scrubland.
In Rioja it is the perfect wine to accompany one of our most notorious dishes, Rioja-style potatoes, a potato and chorizo stew with nuances of bay leaf and chorizo pepper. It also pairs with white meats, mushrooms and legume stews.
