890 - Caja de Madera Red wine

Gran Reserva 890 is a unique, special, timeless and eternal wine. Made with Tempranillo, Mazuelo, Labastida, Villalba and Graciano grapes, with Rioja designation of origin.

After its winter stabilization, we selected the best wines that we aged in barrels for 6 years with 10 traditional racking.Through tasting and analysis we selected the ones that best represented the character of this wine: 236 barrels that we bottled in March 2017 in 61.643 75cl bottles, 4.189 Magnum and 149 double Magnum.To preserve its aromatic components, we have not filtered the wine before bottling.It is the first harvest of Gran Reserva 890 that we made after the mythical 2005

Colour: Maroon red, medium layer and with incipient iodine colour at the edge of the cup.

Nose: The typical notes of Riojan classicism appear: cherry jam, black plum compote, tobacco leaf, cinnamon, vanilla, pepper and chocolate powder.

Mouth: The elegance of its tannins and its friendly freshness give it an elegant and friendly mouthfeel. Classic Rioja bouquet, spacious, complex, round and with an elegant finish. A Gran Reserva 890 with a long life ahead.
