12 Linajes
12 Linajes Crianza is a wine with designation of origin Ribera del Duero and made with Tempranillo grapes. It is traditionally made with 100% destemmed grapes, with alcoholic fermentation at a moderate temperature (26ºC) with post-fermentative maceration depending on the anthocyananthin ratio. 25% of the freshly finished wine undergoes malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels. It is aged for 14 months in new French (25%) and American (75%) oak for one year. Refining in the bottle lasts a minimum of 12 months.
Cherry colour with violet rim
Very intense and complex nose with milky and mineral notes in a background of wild black fruit jam (blueberries and blackberries) combined with elegant spicy notes of black pepper and cloves, with slight hints of roasted and toffee caramels
On the palate it is balanced and round, powerful but with a velvety and well-integrated mid-palate that ends in volume and fat, with a spicy and mineral aftertaste.
92 points Peñín.
