Viña del Olivo Red wine

Viña del Olivo Reserva aims to be the maximum expression of the Contino terroir as it is one of the few calcareous clay estates in Contino (the rest is almost all alluvial) with a very high content of active limestone, a slope of 5 to 7% with southern exposure, rainfed and without the use of herbicides and organic fertilization. Mineral and aging wine, which expresses its modernity with harmony and balance.

Beautiful cherry colour with violet reflections, with a high layer. Clean and bright. Intense, delicate and complex. A good succession of aromas that begins with an intense ripe red and black fruit that gives way to floral, delicate balsamic and subtle spicy sensations. On the palate it has a good attack, intense and smooth, elegant mid-palate, with expressive red and balsamic fruits with ripe, integrated, very pleasant tannins and magnificent acidity. Finish with long and deep bitter notes.
