Tío Uco Red wine
Tío Uco is a village wine from El Pego. Mixture of three plots of which one is a "young" vineyard of 35 years and the other 2 old vineyards of 93 and 89 years.
Seeking to recover the typical techniques of the elaboration extended by the area, and fleeing from the direction that the Toro designation of origin has taken in recent times, it ferments with a stem for 15 days in stainless steel tanks and then passes to wooden foudres for 6-8 months.
View: Red pillory with purple trim, medium body.
Nose: Intense, with ripe fruit (blackberry, blueberry), spicy notes (anise, licorice) and balsamic, menthol touches.
Mouth: Powerful but silky, very fruity, fresh, with ripe and fine tannins, good acidity and a long and tasty finish.
