Tartalo Oxer Bastegieta Red wine
Tartalo Oxer Bastegieta is a red wine made with 87% Tempranillo, 10% Viura, 3% Graciano grapes. Its name comes from a cyclops of Basque mythology, coming from the ‘old world’, a spiritual, dreamlike world, with which Oxer wants to evoke that small spiritual world which has been lost today. The label shows Tartalus emerging defiantly from the lake like Excalibur, looking sideways at the flock of sheep that will be his food...
Tartalo is first and foremost a unique parcel wine, which shows the entire landscape surrounding the vineyard but in wine, giving that longevity and that unique tannic fluidity. Red fruit, with notes of low bush, thyme and rosemary with a mineral background. A fresh wine, of excellent acidity, soft and fluid tannins, with enormous length and storage.
