Rioja Vega Maturana Red wine

Rioja Vega Maturana is a red wine made with the Maturana grape variety, a unique, historical and minority variety, rescued from oblivion, which in the Rioja Vega vineyard reaches optimal maturation levels that results in a monovarietal balanced with mature tannins and an enveloping aromatic base. Aged in American (75%) and French (25%) oak barrels for 13 months.

Colour: Maroon-violet of medium-high intensity.

Nose: Intense aromas of red fruit and fresh grass with notes of licorice and eucalyptus.

Mouth: Fresh and velvety with complex mineral and spicy back-olfaction, also due to the respect for the variety and the contribution of fine tannins of French oak and the sweetest of American oak.

PALATE

In the mouth, it is persistent in the mouth and extends with soft and delicate balsamic sensations. It is a complex wine, with freshness and potential longevity.
