Grape from a unique vineyard, La Dehesa. Land of boulders planted in 1943 by Juan Bautista's grandfather and located in the town of Murillo de Rio Leza. It is the oldest and best-kept vineyard in the family. Only the years that allow an exceptional maturation of the grape is made this wine, using the production of this plot in its entirety. Limestone mother rock on which clays and sandstones are arranged. The soil texture is sandy-loam and it is poor in organic matter. Its disposition makes it suffer from drought, which makes the plant work twice as hard to bear good fruit. It is harvested by hand in small boxes of 12 kilos. Mix of grapes of the Tempranillo and Graciano varieties

This wine undergoes alcoholic fermentation in a stainless steel tank and then undergoes malolactic fermentation in a 12,000-liter Allier French oak wood vat. Being such an old vineyard, the yield of each vine is low, it produces fewer bunches but of higher quality and constantly annually. So depending on what the wine asks of us, we will mature it between 15 and 18 months in always new Icône French oak barrels, or high-end French coopers.

Deep, intense color. Aroma of compote fruit and fine, clean and elegant wood. On the palate it is mineral, round, velvety, balanced and pleasant. Body and structure. Long and persistent finish.
